“Sola Scripture”

At the heart of the Protestant Reformation 500 years ago was the recovery of the Scriptures as the only basis for what we believe and how we live. Am I, like Martin Luther, bound by Holy Scripture? Is my heart captive to the Word of God?

“Solus Christus: Christ Alone”

There is only one mediator between God and men; only one Savior of the world; only one Lord to whom all peoples owe their allegiance. Christ Alone. But He is ALSO to be our one delight, our greatest joy, our only treasure and our strength alone.

“JUSTIFIED” (Gal. 2:16)

The first two ‘solas’  at the heart of the Reformation are found in the doctrine of justification by GRACE alone through FAITH alone. (Its the 500th anniversary of that Reformation this month.)
