Where is parking?
Right across from Fitzpatrick Hall are several parking lots along Luck Ave., especially the lots across from the Kirk Family YMCA, which are all available to us on Sundays.
What should I wear?
What you feel comfortable wearing.
Do I need to bring a Bible?
No. But it’s good to have one to refer to or a Bible app on your phone.
What will the service be like?
Worship music that is a blended mix. Scripture read aloud. A hospitality break where we get another cup of coffee and a snack and greet one another. Then the Ministry of the Word. Some prayer time. Maybe some liturgical readings here and there. The Lord’s Table, a closing song and then a benediction.
Is COR affiliated with a denomination?
We are not. We are intentionally a community church in order to reach a wider audience in this City. But see Our Beliefs section for our strong doctrinal underpinnings. When we planted the church in 2007, we said we wanted to be “rock solid theologically, but broadly evangelical.”
What do you all believe?
Go to the New Here? tab and read our Theological Statement listed there. That will give you a comprehensive view of what we believe. We never want to compromise the core of the Gospel but we take seriously Christ’s call to express a visible unity of the Body of Christ.
Is there anything for babies, toddlers, and children on Sundays?
You bet there is! There is Nursery care and a great program for pre-K – 5 in a safe environment.
Can a visitor take communion?
We serve the Lord’s Table every two weeks. You do not need to be a member of COR to participate, but those who do not yet know Christ should not eat and drink His body and blood (I Cor. 11:27).
How do I join the church?
We have Membership Classes twice a year, and we strongly encourage regular visitors to attend (without commitment) in order to learn about our History, Vision and CORe Values. But everyone is welcome to fully participate in the life and ministries of the Church even if they are not yet members.
