Children

Welcome to COR Kids!

At Christ our Redeemer, we welcome children to come and meet Jesus! Children’s Ministry at COR exists to equip parents in the spiritual formation of their children, encourage children to grow in authentic Christian discipleship, engage the children in our neighborhood with the Gospel of Christ, and enjoy the gifts that children offer the church.

In support of this vision, we offer resources for parents, fellowship opportunities for families, Sunday morning classes for children,  and opportunities for children to participate in Sunday worship services throughout the year.

Your First Visit

Our desire is to provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for your children on Sunday mornings. When you visit, children will be in the service with you initially before being dismissed after the musical portion of worship. Parents then bring children to the classrooms next door in Base Camp, to sign their children in. Children will participate in games, crafts, snack time, and a Bible lesson.  All volunteers who are working with children have successfully completed a background check.

In keeping with the vision of our church community, the message of God’s immeasurable grace and forgiveness will be the central teaching on Sunday mornings. Additionally, we want children to know and love the Bible.  Classes are suspended for the summer, although childcare is provided for the youngest children during the service.

Classes

We offer four classes from September through May:
