The band leads the Church Family into the worship of the Living God, so they draw our focus to the Lord, not to themselves. It is not entertainment, and we are not an audience. But whatever we do, we will aim to do it with excellence.

Our musicians, leaders, themes, and repertoire will arise from the spiritual life of our congregation and also aim to be intelligible to our surrounding community and culture.
Blended in Style
Musical worship at COR draws from many of the rich traditions of worship music. It is neither exclusively traditional nor contemporary. This means that we truly have variety and reflect the diversity of the church’s practice.
Gospel-Centered
Worship is a response to who God is and what He has done. While being sensitive to the church calendar, service content, and the experience of our congregation, our music focuses less on creating an experience of Christ and more on the Christ that we worship.
Led by Teams
Musical worship is led by multiple faces and voices that reflect the breadth of people in our congregation. This worship team cultivates an atmosphere of grace and encouragement with one another.
Excellent
Whatever we choose to do, we aim to do with quality and to the best of our ability, provided other values are not compromised.
Simple
Worship does not require an elaborate set-up or complicated rituals. Complexity should not detract from our primary purpose, which is to glorify God and edify one another.
